Terms of Service
By using Lorapok Atlas, you agree to these terms. This is a free, open-source tool — use it responsibly and in accordance with the APIs' own terms of service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Lorapok Atlas API Directory ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Lorapok Atlas is a free, open-source web application that allows developers to browse, explore, and live-test public APIs. The Service provides:
- A curated directory of 2100+ free and open-source APIs
- Live API testing from the browser
- API key management via Firebase Firestore
- AI assistant (Vaultie) powered by Groq
- Code snippet generation and a code playground
3. User Accounts
You may use the Service without an account. Signing in with Google OAuth unlocks additional features (key storage, history, collections). You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Abuse, spam, or overload third-party APIs beyond their own rate limits
- Store illegal, harmful, or malicious content in your API keys or snippets
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the Service
- Use the Service to facilitate unauthorized access to third-party systems
- Scrape or harvest data from the Service in bulk
5. Third-Party APIs
The APIs listed in the directory are operated by third parties. Lorapok Atlas does not own, control, or endorse any third-party API. When you use an API through this Service, you are also subject to that API's own terms of service and usage policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or legality of any third-party API.
6. API Keys and Credentials
API keys you store in the Service are your responsibility. Do not store production credentials for critical systems. We recommend using test/sandbox keys where possible. We are not liable for any unauthorized access to your stored keys.
7. Intellectual Property
Lorapok Atlas is released under the MIT License. You are free to fork, modify, and redistribute the source code under the terms of that license. The Lorapok name, logo, and mascot (Vaultie 🐛) are trademarks of Mohammad Maizied Hasan Majumder.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular API will be available or functional. Use the Service at your own risk.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lorapok and its maintainers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, API key exposure, or service interruption.
10. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. The "Last updated" date will reflect changes. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, without regard to conflict of law principles.
